For these outcomes, p-values are present from the analysis of each using both four HbA1c groups (Table 5) and two HbA1c groups (Table 6). For operative mortality, OPCAB surgery showed a positive trend that was shown to be significant when using two HbA1c groups for analysis. For new post-operative dialysis, ONCAB surgery showed a positive trend that was shown to be significant when using two HbA1c groups for analysis
